What does the Scholarship offer?
- $2,500 (managed by Good Start Foundation) to assist with tertiary education costs
- Personal mentor
- Support and assistance of Good Start Foundation
Scholarship Eligibility
- Year 12 or 13 student
- Has achieved 60 credits in NCEA Level 2 in one academic year and is currently studying an NCEA Level 3 program (on track to achieve 60 credits)
- Is enrolling in full-time study at an NZQA-approved tertiary institution at Level 4 or above
- Demonstrates community involvement in both the School Community and an External Organization
- Demonstrate the values of Care and Courage
- Is committed to “making a difference in their community after leaving school”. It is expected that after being awarded the scholarship, the recipient would complete 50 hours of volunteering at a charity of their choice.
